A Month of Nice☟
June had some extremely nice moments. Here’s a rundown:
- Saw my seniors graduate
- Went to LA to see a close friend get married & nailed my speech
- Seeing the sheer joy on my wife’s face when she found a Lububu in LA (and again when we found a second one just yesterday here in Portland)
- Spent time with family on the east coast and found out my nephew loves singing and dancing to Shakedown Street
- Secured the bag (a stuffed pretzel from Wawa)
- Family walks and farmers market hangs
- DJ’d my first wedding
- Started writing/demoing some new material
Busy month. I’m glad to be back in the PNW for the rest of the summer and already daydreaming of heading to Orcas Island to perform at Dylanfest in August alongside Lily Seabird, Dean Johnson, Squirrel Flower, and more.
Record Fair ~ Part Four☟
Portland record collectors - mark your calendars. I’ve teamed up with my friends over at KMHD Jazz Radio to put on another record fair here in Portland. We’ll be setting up shop at Company (wine bar/bottle shop) from 2-6pm on July 12th. Have a great crew of vendors slinging new and used vinyl plus dj sets from KMHD’s Bryson Wallace and Alex Newman + food from Unwind.
