Coming Out Of The Fog☟
I was in rough shape earlier this month. Reached one of those low-lows that many of us have been riding out. Didn’t feel quite like myself for a week or two. Grateful to be coming out of the fog and for slow mornings at home. Currently putting the finishing touches on LP2. I love the part of making an album where it’s still just yours for a bit, before you start sending it to friends, labels, etc. It’s kind of a sacred time for me. An album takes on a whole new life once other people are ingesting it. Regardless of what’s to come, it’s important to honor and reflect on your process, the making/doing being the biggest reward of all.
Spring Break Tour 2022☟
I am two releases deep (You Become The Mountain + Torii Gates) sans touring. Having canceled a similar run back in 2020, I could not be happier to announce my Spring Break Tour 2022. Kicking things off in Austin for SXSW before cruisin’ up the west coast. All of the bills are stacked + it’s also my first full-band tour. Lineup is Connor Gallaher (west-coast) and Zach Wiggs (SXSW) on steel, Chris Muccioli on drums and David Plakon on bass. We’ll be bringing the heat. Tickets for shows in Los Angeles (Gold-Diggers), San Francisco (Milk Bar), Bolinas (Smiley’s) and Portland (Bunk Bar) are on sale now. Full dates + ticket links below. Please come say hello if you are in one of these towns. Beautiful poster by Cody Hudson.

SXSW☟
SXSW has changed a lot over the years, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t extremely excited for tacos, Topo Chico, Lone Star and sunshine for a week in March. I’m looking to hop on a handful more shows while I’m in town (3/14-3/17). If you are or know someone who is putting a showcase together, I’d love to be in touch. Don’t hesitate to shoot me a DM on IG or Twitter. You can also find my contact info on my website. Would greatly appreciate any/all suggestions or help.

February DJ Sets☟
Back on the ones and twos. If you’re in PDX, I’ll be spinning records 2.8 at Donnie Vegas and 2.20 for my regular Saloon Sunday slot at Mad Hanna. Always looking to do more of this - if you have an event coming up that you might want an all vinyl set for, just say the word. Art by Spencer Stanley.
